Tweets with an interactive element can help engage fans and followers, spark conversation, and prompt people to visit your website, provide feedback, or help spread the word about your latest initiative, match, or release. In this article we take you through some of the formats that can be found within ads.twitter.com, including Video Website Cards, Media Polls, Conversational Cards, and Tweet to Unlock Cards.

Video Website Card

Website Cards are a great way to help drive audiences back to your site using images, GIFs, and video images. The Video Website Card in particular offers a flexible and creative way to pair the power of video with the ability to drive users back to your site.

Media Polls

Media Polls are a great way to engage with followers by adding a poll question alongside your videos and images. Polls are generally an effective way of prompting users to engage with your content, and combining polls with visual elements gives users something specific and eye-catching to orient your question around.

Creating a Media Poll

1. Go to ads.twitter.com and select the Tweet Compose button in the top right.

2. Select the poll icon. Craft your Tweet text, including your poll question. Add 2-4 choices and set the length of time users can vote on your poll.

3. Click on the Photo or Video icon to add media to your poll

4. Click the Tweet button to send your poll question out.

Note: Polls can also be made via tweetdeck.twitter.com, on twitter.com, or mobile.
