Updates to TweetDeck make it easier to join the public conversation

By ‎@tweetanor‎

There’s no better way to monitor the multitude of conversations happening on Twitter than TweetDeck.

Today, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re testing a new way to make it considerably easier to participate in the public conversation directly via TweetDeck. By revamping the Tweet composer, we’re giving people the ability to Tweet with an expanded toolkit at their disposal, including:

  • GIFs
  • Emoji
  • Threads
  • Polls
  • Image tagging

These features — GIFs in particular — have been among the most-requested features by TweetDeck users for a long time, and we’re so excited to finally bring them to the product.

These new features build on top of the features that make TweetDeck the go-to product for your team’s Twitter needs. You can still share Twitter accounts  — only now you have a broader creative palette to Tweet from. If you need to schedule Tweets, you’ll still be able to do that by switching back to the old Tweet composer while we work on bringing this functionality into the new Tweet composer.

We’re so excited about this update and can’t wait to see how you continue to drive the conversation in even more creative ways.
